At Kensington Art Therapy, Bridget Kuzma provides personalized therapy that uses talk therapy with sensory-based modalities to support mind-body integration and align with developmental needs and milestones.

‘Bottom-up’ relates to both the overall structure of our brain and nervous system as well as the order of development from the brain stem (survival responses) up to our pre-frontal cortex (thinking, executive functioning).

Many people experience times in their life when this natural growth is truncated, disorganized, or deterred due to a traumatic event or overwhelming experience. Non-verbal and kinesthetic oriented therapy modalities tend to the whole imprint left by such life events to provide reparative and regenerative opportunities for new experiences of growth in a safe, supportive environment.
